Design Has
No Boundaries
If twenty years have taught us one thing, it’s that design is an evolution. The craft of weaving a piece of furniture by hand is an art form — one still embodied in every Lebello piece — and it lives alongside the pure materials we’ve come to love: stainless steel, aluminium, marble, and our signature woven Ropetek® fibre.
It has shaped a quiet conviction, too: that good furniture shouldn’t need a cushion to be comfortable or complete. Form, proportion and material should do that work on their own. That belief is why every Lebello piece blends timeless aesthetics with uncompromising durability — beauty and comfort built in, not added on.
The new norm
Pure. Simple. Overengineered.
Look closely at a Chair 7 and you’ll find even the tips are engineered. To most people a detail like that goes unnoticed — to us, it’s the whole point. The weight of a piece, the way its parts meet, even the box it ships in: the sum of these is what makes a brand. What lasts is the experience the owner has with the piece every day — and that is built, quietly, from the smallest details.

Behind the Brand
Lebello is the work of Lars and Helga — the founders whose partnership has shaped every piece the studio has made. What began as an import business for traditional rattan and woven-fibre furniture soon grew into something more ambitious: the desire to design, not simply distribute.
Lars brought his international design training honed between Milan and Los Angeles, California — the discipline of international Italian furniture design and the ease of Californian vibrant outdoor living, two influences still visible in everything Lebello makes.
Their first pieces followed in quick succession — the Marshmallow, then the Spinball, the Hollow and Chair 6 — each a step further from convention and closer to the Lebello signature.
Our story
From a single idea to spaces around the world
Creative and restless by instinct, Lebello became one of the first makers to bring real colour to synthetic wicker. At a time when outdoor furniture came in little more than browns and greys, we introduced vivid greens, blues, pinks and oranges — colours no one had seen on furniture like this before.

Our first major contract project took the Hollow series to Las Vegas, wrapping the pool decks of the Palms Casino — the moment Lebello stepped from product design into large-scale hospitality.
From there we ventured abroad, taking our collections to a global audience and forging lasting relationships across the hospitality industry — including a specialist expertise in the demanding Marine Hospitality sector, with work for cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise Line. Over the years our furniture has been chosen by some of the world’s leading names, among them Hyatt, Marriott, W Hotels, One&Only and INK Hotel.
Since our inception we have served clients around the world with a focus on bespoke hospitality and contract solutions — and our residential collections are held to exactly the same standard as our contract work.
